Isaiah 46:9-10 God knows exactly where you are today

Isaiah 46:9-10
9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,

-Does anyone have a favorite book that you have read so many times you can remember the whole story?  As you read it again and again, you know the book so well that you know what events will happen on what pages and those events never change; what happens on a given page will be the same every time you turn to that page.  Our lives appear the same way from the perspective of the All-knowing God.  While we look into our future with uncertainty, the Lord knows everything that will happen and everything happens right on cue; this can be a great source of peace in our lives if we’ll allow it to be.  We often dread what’s waiting for us tomorrow, but let us never forget that the only things that can happen tomorrow are the things that are supposed to happen; God knows your tomorrow better than you know that page in your favorite book.  What’s more, God not only knows every page of our lives, but he is also the Author which means that all of our tomorrows are ordained by Him.  “The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.” (Psalm 33:11)

  1. Sometimes I feel like am always redirecting myself to where I ought not to be. I take a step backwards and let God lead me. Thank you for this piece
