Romans 11:30-32 – Mercy

Romans 11:30-32
30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
-Paul reminds the Gentiles that in the past we were God’s enemies, but we received mercy; he also foretells that even though the people of Israel have become the Lord’s enemies, they too will receive mercy.  All people are guilty before God and God has ordained to have mercy on us all.  What is His mercy?  It’s His own Son dying for our sins.  We should all be in Hell right now, but if God allowed you to live long enough to hear about His Son Jesus Christ; then you have been shown great, great mercy.
