Philippians 2:14 – Murmurings and Disputings

Philippians 2:14
14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

-This is definitely one of those commands that I file under “easier said than done”.  Think about what the verse is saying.  “All things” doesn’t just refer to the things that you want to do, things that are convenient, or things that you think you should do.  It also means the things that you don’t want to do, things that are very inconvenient, and the things that you think you shouldn’t have to do.  How often do we grudgingly complete these tasks in the course of a day and we gripe and complain the whole way?  We may think we deserve a pat on the back for our perseverance, but in reality, we are falling far short of the Lord’s standard.
