30 And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them:
31 Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.
-“I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27) A miracle is a miracle; end of story. There are, however, certain miracles that really call attention to how total God’s power is. Consider the maimed that are mentioned here in Matthew 15. As amazing as it would be to see a crippled person get up and walk or a blind person start to see, imagine seeing the Lord repair or even regrow arms or legs that had been permanently damaged or lost. He made us the first time, so it would certainly be a light thing for Him to remake an arm, a leg, a liver, a heart. So, if your body ever decides to fail you, don’t lose hope; God is still in control.
