Hebrews 13:4 – The Marriage Bed

Hebrews 13:4
4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
 
1 Corinthians 6:18
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
 
Love is broken in the world and in our hearts.  When humanity sinned in the Garden of Eden, it twisted the pure love that God put in us.  That twisted love takes many forms and one such form is to desire sexual activity outside the bond of marriage.  Sex is not to be taken lightly and is only for married adults.  Don’t rush.  If you move too fast just to get a thrill, that’s a cheap thrill, and cheap thrills are rarely worth the consequences.  To the younger people reading this, don’t feel as though your maturity is being discounted.  It’s not a matter of intelligence or maturity, but rather the fact that our perspectives are constantly shaping with age.  It’s easy to do something when we are younger that we wish we hadn’t done when we are older.  “What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed?” (Romans 6:21)
